I have a weakness for french fries, ice cream, and cheesecake. I don’t get NASCAR, fantasy football, or video games, and I have an unusual aversion to the hiccups. I love almost anything in the wild outdoors, but I’ll take a dirt path and hiking pole over a deer stand and a rifle. I especially like backpacking, camping, lying under the stars, sitting around a fire, and being in and around bodies of water. I don’t talk smack and I have a soft spot for animals.

My heroes and influences include Tom Hanks, Steve Martin, John Corbett, Gene Kelly, Gregory Peck, and the dramatic side of Robin Williams. I've been told that I look like Ron Livingston and Harry Connick, Jr.
I grew up watching classic Audrey Hepburn movies and reruns of The Andy Griffith Show. I loved Northern Exposure, The X-Files, and Seinfeld.
I dream of making physical, outdoor-themed movies like Sean Penn's Into the Wild, Liam Neeson's The Grey, and Reese Witherspoon's Wild. I also love movies with the raw emotional impact of Magnolia and It's a Wonderful Life, as well as television shows like This is Us.
