While others were up at the crack of dawn to shop Black Friday deals, I stayed home with my sick children and created my one-minute commercial reel for acting. Think of it as the actor’s elevator pitch.
As always, I’d love your feedback in the comments section of this post. If you really want to show the love, go directly to the Vimeo page and like the video there.
Have a great Thanksgiving weekend!

Jonathan, thought I would see if you have ever read “The Artist’s Way?” So practical and right on for me, that I think she might have checked in on me before writing about artists that struggle with the creative process, writer’s block, or fears of all things possible! I just started it a few days ago, and am devouring it, slowly. I am in no hurry; I want to get everything out of it that I can.
Just thought I would see if you were familiar with it, since I see your blogs and writings. Hope you are having a great weekend.

Hey, Randy!
Yes, I have heard of it for years, but have not yet read it. (I did check it out from the library once, but I don’t think that counts!). I understand that the author is not coming from a biblical worldview, but knowing that, I’ve heard many, many great things about it. Keep me posted and let me know how you like it. My best to you!
Jonathan, that is true in that she doesn’t come from a Christian world view, per se, but she doesn’t say anything negative about it; she just leaves the door open so that people of all faiths will read the book, and not feel they are being proselyted. I have only been in it less than a week, but the stuff is so right on. She has you write morning pages, which is such a creative flow.

Yeah, I need to do this.
Sometimes this Artist thing can be confusing, but I am pressing through.
I’m with you.
