It’s official.  [gulp!] I purchased airfare to Europe today.  Times two.  This is for the mission trip my daughter and I are going on this summer.  Airfare is a big step of faith, because it’s the most expensive thing we have to buy and it’s non-refundable.

I’m more than a little concerned with how Nashville’s flooding might affect our fund-raising efforts.  Most of our supporters live in middle Tennessee and almost all of us have either been affected or know someone close to us who has been affected.  All of sudden, we have unforeseen home repairs and lots of our neighbors need assistance.

In the end, the most important thing that any of us can do is to be obedient to what the Lord would have us do.  As best as I can determine, for Lulu and me this summer, that includes the Sozo Festival.  He was  not surprised by the flooding this weekend.  If He wants us to participate in this mission trip, He will provide.  And most of the time, He provides through His people who are walking in obedience.

If you would like to help us, you can either make a donation or sign up for the Riggs Recycling Service.  Peace of Christ to you.
