See, I am laying in Zion a stone,
a cornerstone chosen and precious;
and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.– Isaiah 28:16, as quoted in 1 Peter 2
This morning at The Table, Kristine reminded us not to listen to the lies of doubt and shame that sometimes inhabit our thoughts. Instead, let us dwell on the truth of who God says we are: a holy priesthood, God’s own people, and recipients of His mercy. This was our set of worship music:
- Walk-in 1: Love Came Down (Johnson / Johnson / Riddle / McIntosh / Edwardson)
- Walk-in 2: Worthy is the Lamb (Brian Johnson)
- Walk-in 3: This is what You Do (Stinton / Riddle)
- Glorious (Baloche / Brown)
- What a Savior (Jeremiah Jones)
- Offertory: For Grace (Rob Higginbotham)
- Communion: Love Came Down
- That Where I Am (Rich Mullins)
