This post is part of the Sunday Setlist blog carnival.
The wolf will romp with the lamb,
the leopard sleep with the kid.
Calf and lion will eat from the same trough,
and a little child will tend them.
Today at The Table, Michael spoke of the gospel of peace as a two-edged sword. It’s all grace, but some will be comforted (the lambs) while others (the wolves) will be challenged. Whatever he speaks to you will be the word you need to hear to give you life. This was our set:
- Walk-in 1: Prepare the Way, O Zion (Franzen / Price)
- Walk-in 2: King of Heaven (Baloche / Ingram)
- O Come, O Come Emmanuel (Coffin / Helmore / Neale)
- Prepare Ye the Way (Michael W. Smith)
- Revelation Song (Jennie Lee Riddle)
- Offertory: Hope is Dawning (Maher / Gungor / Keyes / Parks)
- Doxology: to the tune of “O Come, O Come Emmanuel”
- Communion: Agnus Dei (Michael W. Smith)
- King of Heaven
