Blue Eyes, Happy Girl, and myself headed to the annual Father – Daughter dance

Last Friday night was the annual Father–Daughter dance at Belmont Church. I don’t know who loves it more, my daughters who get to dress up or my wife, who dresses them up and stays home in her pajamas, looking at all the Facebook pictures of the other girls dressed up. And I love it too. Here’s what else I’m thankful for this week:

  • Coffee, face time, and conversation with my talent agent
  • Dads with two left feet and great big hearts
  • First opportunity leading worship for the fine folks at The Table
  • A new outlet for sight singing with new friends
  • Another day’s work on the “Nashville” TV show
  • My sweetest Valentine and love of my life, Lara
