Thankful Thursday

It’s been a steady dose of illness, too-cold-to-play-outside, and let’s-watch-another-movie around the Riggs’ house, but I do believe we have turned the corner. My gratitude list for this week.

• An invitation to join leaders more experienced than I
• Sparkly dresses, little shoes, and the unspoken agreement not to make fun of white dads on the dance floor
• “It goes like this: the fourth, the fifth, the minor fall, and the major lift“
• A snow-covered hill, a piece of plastic, and four-year-old giggles
