I received a text message over the weekend that a colleague saw me in The Clovehitch Killer. She didn’t know that I was in it and I didn’t know it was still streaming! It was a fun surprise all around. The independent creepy thriller, directed by Duncan Skiles, filmed in 2016, and released in 2018, found its way to Netflix and became a sleeper hit. It didn’t hurt that Stephen King himself sang its praises, specifically because of my performance, as memory serves [wink wink]. At any rate, it left Netflix in 2022 and I thought “well, that was fun” and considered it over. Lo and behold, it is back and streaming on Netflix and elsewhere once again.
If you’re brave enough to watch it, be on the lookout for Pastor Randy. He’s a good guy trying to keep Tyler on the straight and narrow. Wish him luck.
