I have sung all of my life. And music has held my attention and curiosity since childhood. I began studying how music worked in high school and completed a major in composition and arranging in college.

Acting, like music or any other art form, is a serious craft. I came across this article and video from Charlie Sandlan, the Executive Director and Senior Acting Teacher at New York’s Maggie Flanigan Studio. Sandlan argues that, on the whole, British actors understand the importance of craft and technique more so than American actors. Consequently, the Brits are taking some of our best roles.
