What fun it was to reunite with the director and some of the cast from Remember the Goal, a faith-based film about a new coach of a girls cross-country team who trains for the high-school state championship using unorthodox techniques against the wishes of the girls’ ambitious parents.
What I like most about this film is its pro-girls message. As a father of two daughters (12 and 18) it’s refreshing to see high school girls NOT sexed-up. The girls are just girls figuring out their young lives. They’re celebrated for what they can accomplish. What a concept. This reason alone makes the movie worth supporting.
