Then the kingdom of heaven will be like this. Ten bridesmaids took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. – from Matthew 25

This morning at The Table, Malone reflected on this parable and taught us that the oil is our belief and trust that our Groom will come and bring us into the party despite the mess we made of the bridal suite. This was our set of worship music.

  • Walk-in 1: I Will Exalt (Amanda Cook)
  • Walk-in 2: Lord, You are Good (Huskinson / MacLeod / Skinner)
  • Walk-in 3: King of Heaven (Baloche / Ingram)
  • For all the Saints (How / Miner)
  • I Will Rise (Giglio, Tomlin, Maher, Reeves)
  • Offertory: Keep Your Lamp Trimmed and Burning (Traditional)
  • Doxology: to the tune of “All Creatures of our God and King”
  • Sanctus: Holy, Holy, Holy (Brian Darnell)
  • Communion: When I Look at the Blood (Godfrey Birtill)
  • I Will Rise
  • Walk-out: King of Heaven

What a wonderfully stimulating service this past Sunday Morning. If I wasn’t playing there every so often, I’d probably start attending there. Phenomenal song (Lamps trimmed & burning) this morning. Absolutely loved it!! Jonathan, you’ve been gifted the gift of music, performance, teaching, and patience. So very needed in these days. Thank you for serving our Lord in the way you do. 🙂
